The type of personal information we collect


We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Name, date of birth, gender, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number and health declaration

  • Credit or debit card information, information about your bank account number and sort code or
    other banking information.

How we get the personal information and why we have it


Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • Become a member at an Aspire gym

  • To ensure you are physically fit to use the facilities

  • Sign up to our newsletter

  • Take part in a competition

  • Contact us through telephone, email or online chat

  • CCTV

    • (a) to prevent or detect crime and protect buildings and assets from damage, disruption, theft, vandalism and other crime;

    • (b) for the personal safety of trainers, their clients and individual gym users and potential customers, therapists, teachers and contractors and to act as a deterrent against crime;

    • (c) for health and safety compliance of those using the gym and accessing the building safely

    • (d) to support law enforcement bodies in the prevention, detection and prosecution of crime

We use the information that you have given us in order to provide you with the services, products or information that you have requested, for administration purposes, to improve your website experience, and marketing.

We may need to share your information with our service providers, associated organisations and agents for these purposes. We may use your information to:

  • Process your membership through Wix, our chosen membership management software

  • Bill you for using services as part of your membership

How we store your personal information


Your information is securely stored via Wix.


Wix can store your site-visitors' data in a number of locations. Your site-visitors  personal information may be stored in data centers located in the United States of America, Ireland, South Korea, Taiwan and Israel. We may use other jurisdictions as necessary for the proper delivery of our services and/or as may be required by law.


Wix is a global company that respects the laws of the jurisdictions it operates within. The processing of
the User Customer Data may take place within the territory of the European Union, Israel or a third country, territory, or one or more specified sectors within that third country, of which, the European
Commission has decided that it ensures an adequate level of protection (transfer on the basis of an
adequacy decision).


Important:


Any transfer to a third country outside the European Union - which does not ensure an adequate level of
protection according to the European Commission - will be undertaken in accordance with the current
and updated set of Standard Contractual Clauses, as approved by the European Commission. These
terms are set out in the Wix Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

We keep your information for as long as you are a member.


Upon cancellation of a membership, we will then dispose of your information after 12 months.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.


Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.


Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.


You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
